1980s Wheelset Specialized TRI SPOKE Carbon Clincher Wheels 700c Road Bike. Especially the parcels to the USA are delayed - average 5 weeks, in some cases 8-10 weeks.
This happens mainly to exotic destination. Wheelset for your vintage bike project.
Please note that the rear wheel has a hairline crack! These wheels are probably from the late 1980s or early 1990s.
In general they are in used to good condition with regular signs of use. There are some fine scratches and marks and regular signs of use/age. Please see pics for details. The front wheel is free of cracks.
The rear wheel shows a hairline crack next to the hole for the pump head. The preowner used these wheels in this condition and it was no issue so far.
He did not even recognize it. However, I sell the front wheel as functionable and the rear wheel as not functionable.The rear wheel could still be rideable/useable, but that is up to the next owner to decide. If you don't want to ride the rear wheel anymore, it could still be a nice rear wheel for a bike in a bicycle collection.
Both wheels are for clincher tires. No tires or tubes included. The wheels seem to be pretty straight and true. At least if jugded by eye as I have no truing stand. The wheels run very smooth. 130mm rear spacing, 100mm front.Standard 28 inches, 700c, 622. As a description is always influenced by a personal opinion I made a couple of supersize pics that help you to judge yourself. Please see my other auctions! Sometimes it can also take 6-8 weeks. Carriers I use are the Austrian Post, DHL (large parcels) and sometimes smaller carriers like Hermes and GLS.
